Our company’s story begins in 1995 at the heart of Addis Ababa engaging in import & export sector evolving and playing a pioneering role in different sectors.
EGT from the date of establishment to now has been one of the fastest ever-growing company. EGT Group started trading business through its initial company Excel Commerce and has since made it possible to create diversified companies under its group. It has vast business portfolios including manufacturing of industrial specialty gases & chemicals, supplying locally and exporting its manufactured goods to the horn of Africa, importing and distribution of heavy-duty quality equipment’s for the hospitality industry, providing professional services to the hotel industry, real estate & developments and many. more.

Millestones

1995

Egt Group’s initial company Excel Commerce was established

2007

First G. Global Gas & Chemical PLC was established

2009

First manufacturing plant was commissioned

2013

Acquired a 30,000 and commissioned its second Specialty Chemical manufacturing plant in Dukem town, 40 km from the capital, Addis Ababa

2017

Established a real estate development company. Secured plots of lands in the suburban province of Addis Ababa

2018

Commissioned Its third Manufacturing plant in the industrial park of Addis Ababa

EGT has division which is engaged in in collecting, cleaning, processing, grading & exporting Ethiopia’s Organic Arabica Coffee to its neighboring countries and across the globe.

EGT has been engaged in the manufacturing sector for over 14 years. It also has a division which manufactures industrial specialty gases & chemicals with state-of-the-art machineries in 35,000 square meters production plants with 200+ personnel. Its reputable for supplying chemicals consistently to its satisfied customers.

EGT is engaged in different sectors of importing which includes high-end professional kitchen equipment’s, laundry equipment’s and industrial chemicals and many more from various suppliers that its group has made partners over the years. The group plays a major role in importing goods that are scares in the country with the help of its partners across the globe.

The group is led by highly qualified senior managements along with experienced professionals. Our group staff members are 300+ in the corporate office as well as different sites. The head office located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
